Key current Volunteer Vacancies
Planning Officer
Dealing with planning applications or responding to key strategic documents that affect the future of the Forest.
Have you an interest in planning? Are you willing to look at planning applications and respond to any which have
a potential impact on the Forest? We currently would like extra support in Waltham Forest and Epping Forest District.
Whilst the recession may have reduced the impact of growth on the area in the short term, there is much ahead and
we need to keep a vigilant eye on applications to ensure we can feed in our comments.
Increasingly too, there are major consultation documents, from Government, the City of London or local councils.
Extra resources to help with these would be welcome. Maybe you could even help develop a team of planning officers?
Events Officer
Events too could do with extra hands
If you are keen on events, have great organisational skills, it would give us scope to extend what we can do!
Sales Officer
Keen on selling things?
We have stocks of books and Forest goods, mugs, teatowels and the like.
If you are well organised, not afraid of numbers and willing to explore new avenues to sell our goods,
this is for you.
